The Role - Email Marketing Specialist

In this role, you will be pivotal in crafting and executing compelling email campaigns that effectively engage and captivate our unique audience of cigar enthusiasts. Your expertise in copywriting will be essential for creating impactful email content, from attention-grabbing headlines to persuasive calls to action. While you will occasionally adapt visual elements, your main focus will remain on leveraging your writing skills to elevate our brand’s email communications. This role involves both taking direction from the email marketing manager and working independently within Klaviyo's email platform and Magento's online shopping cart platform to drive projects to completion. Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement email marketing campaigns that embody the unique style and mindset of cigar culture, ensuring deep engagement with our audience.
• Produce compelling email campaigns that include effective headlines, tags, and calls to action; leverage strong copywriting skills to drive engagement and conversions.
• Manage the scheduling and delivery of daily emails, adapting to challenges promptly and ensuring all timelines are met.
• Utilize tools like Klaviyo and Mailchimp for campaign management and data analytics, maintaining precise control over subscriber lists and interactions.
• Coordinate promotional activities within emails, setting up, monitoring, and analyzing the usage of promo codes.
• Monitor key performance indicators for email campaigns, use data to optimize future campaigns, and provide concise reports on outcomes.
• Work collaboratively on team projects, ensuring effective communication and alignment on project goals and deadlines.
• Continually develop knowledge of cigar culture to enhance the relevance and appeal of marketing content to target consumers.

About You

• You're experienced with email marketing tools like Klaviyo or Mailchimp and understand eCommerce shopping cart platforms such as Magento.
• You're self-sufficient, adept at managing projects independently and taking initiative.
• You have strong Excel or similar spreadsheet skills, crucial for data analysis and decision-making.
• Your attention to detail is impeccable, ensuring accuracy in every aspect of your work.
• You're curious about cigar culture and eager to learn its intricacies to better connect with our audience.
